If you’ve ever coveted Ciara’s smooth, blemish-free skin, then her latest business venture is your dream come true. The multihyphenate star took to her Instagram to announce the soon-to-come debut of her new skincare line, OAM. 2. Nigeria: Joke Silva refutes husband, Olu Jacobs’ death rumors

Nigerian movie icon Olu Jacobs is not dead. This is according to his wife, Joke Silva who released a statement via her Instagram story on Monday, August 29. “Good day everyone, trust all is going well. The Jacobs clan would love to inform you that Pa J Olu Jacobs MFR is alive and well, enjoying himself as always in the comfort of his home and loved ones,” she wrote. “To all those who have decided to ignore our last warning regarding fake news, kindly prepare for legal action. Signed House Jacobs.”

This is not the first time the actress would be debunking the rumors of her husband’s death. The actress, in an interview in 2021, refuted claims and clarified that the veteran actor was enjoying a nice meal at the time. Earlier in the year, Mr. Jacobs hosted friends, family, and colleagues at his 80th birthday party. Jacobs has been away from the public eye for a while over his ill health. The movie veteran’s wife first revealed that he was suffering from dementia.

3. South Africa: Stephanie Ndlovu shares first post-birth photo

Stephanie Ndlovu says getting back to a sense of normalcy is a little hard. On Wednesday, she shared a photo of herself on Instagram, sans baby bump, although she didn’t announce the birth of her child. “Mama. Getting back into the swing of things is wholeheartedly the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but I am trying to exercise patience & kindness with myself, being present in every moment on this new journey,” she wrote. On July 17, Stephanie and her beau Hungani announced their pregnancy on social media, stating that they were “beyond thrilled and excited” to share the moment with their fans and followers.

Earlier in the year, the couple shocked South Africa when they announced they suffered a miscarriage. On their YouTube channel Stephanie revealed that, out of excitement, she had already started recording her first scan at the doctor for her husband, who couldn’t be with her when she received the sad news. She said she was diagnosed with a blighted ovum.

Congratulations to the new parents.

4. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Barcelona striker robbed in his home

Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the victim of a violent robbery at his home in the early hours of Monday morning. Police are investigating the robbery in the town of Castelldefels, near Barcelona, at 01:00 local time.

Reports say the armed robbers broke into the house, threatened the player and his wife and forced them to open a safe, and stole jewelry. Aubameyang was also reportedly beaten in the incident. Barcelona said Aubameyang and his wife were okay following the robbery.

5. Valencia sign Cavani on free transfer after striker’s Man Utd exit

Valencia has completed the signing of veteran striker Edinson Cavani on a free transfer, the club announced Monday. The Uruguay star has signed a two-year contract with the Spanish side, rejecting interest from Boca Juniors and Villarreal to join Los Che. He will earn around €2 million per season in La Liga.

The 35-year-old was snapped up in a free transfer after he left Manchester United during the summer. Cavani’s contract at Old Trafford came to an end last season and he described it as a “bitter” closing to his career at Old Trafford. Cavani’s signing was announced less than 30 minutes before the team’s La Liga clash against Atletico Madrid. The Uruguayan could make his debut on Sunday when they host Getafe.
