Tiwa Savage And Zinoleesky Enjoy Their Lives On ‘Jaiye Foreign’ + More New Trending Afrobeat Songs

Friday not only ushers in the weekend but also new music from some of our favorite afrobeats stars. This week, the Queen of afrobeats, Tiwa Savage joined forces with street hop sensation Zinoleesky to give listeners an enjoy-your-life anthem titled Jaiye Foreign.

Davido Music Worldwide artiste Peruzzi also gave his fans not one but two songs to hold on to titled Hypertension and Things I Need. From Tiwa Savage hopping on the amapiano wave to Peruzzi’s dance-worthy tune and  AYLO joining the growing list of artists making Nigeria and Nigerians proud, this week in music was a great one. As we enter into another weekend, we’ve put together a list of the top five trending new afrobeat songs released this week for your pleasure.

#1. Tiwa Savage ft. Zinoleesky – Jaiye Foreign

Queen of Afrobeats Tiwa Savage has released a new single Jaiye Foreign featuring street hop sensation Zinoleesky. Tiwa Savage is a veteran in the game whose music has thrilled fans for over a decade. In this single, Savage employs amapiano to offer listeners a catchy, danceable song. Marlian Music signee Zinoleesky brought his street sound to the song which perfectly matched Tiwa’s vibes and made the song a straight banger.

#2. Peruzzi – Hypertension

Nigerian singer Peruzzi is back with a brand new song titled Hypertension. It is his second drop this year after his previously released single Ready. This song is one part of a double release from the singer this week, with the other being Things I Need. On Hypertension, the Davido Music Worldwide artist sings about how women’s bodies are so banging that they can cause hypertension.

#3. L.A.X – Para

L.A.X, a phenomenally talented Nigerian recording artist, rapper, and songwriter, enters the music scene with the fantastic hit song Para. This wonderful song follows his earlier offering, Waist Drop. On Para, which translates to vex, L.A.X takes to the amapiano sound to sing about leveling up and not allowing anyone or anything to distract him.

#4. AYLØ – Hey!

Super Talented Nigerian Alternative singer and songwriter, AYLØ enters the music scene once again with a mind-blowing piece he titled Hey! The wonderful record was performed by the singer on the Colors Studio as the singer joins the growing list of Nigerian artists to have performed on the platform. With AYLØ’s performance, he made a strong case for the Nigerian alternative music scene.

#5. Mannywellz – No Closure

Talented Nigeria-American afro-RnB singer and songwriter Mannywellz is back with a new song titled No Closure following the success of his 2020 EP, Mirage. In this post-breakup song, Mannywellz sings about how closure is a scam and how his ex should stay away from him with her lies. One of the best things about this song is how the artist flexed his pen game as lyricism is very important in the RnB genre.
