Lizzo hit back at Kanye West over his recent remarks about her weight when he said that she is being used to promote unhealthy lifestyle. Clapping back at the rapper’s comments, the “To Be Loved” hitmaker gave a reply to him during her concert in Toronto without explicitly mentioning his moniker. “I feel like everybody in America got my name in their mouth for no reason,” the singer said during her show. “I’m minding my fat, Black, beautiful business,” she added while the crowd cheered her on. Lizzo then asked the crowd, “Can I stay here [in Canada]?” before joking, “Who can I marry for that dual citizenship?”
West said during his interview with Tucker Carlson for Fox News, “When Lizzo loses 10 pounds and announces it, the bots … on Instagram, they attack her losing weight. Because the media wants to put out a perception that being overweight is the new goal when it’s actually unhealthy,” he added. “It’s demonic.”

Set in the ancient Oyo empire, Anikulapo follows an ambitious young man’s quest for fame and fortune. The Netflix original starring Kunle Remi, Bimbo Ademoye, Sola Sobowale, and an enviable list of veteran Yoruba-language film stars, debuted on October 1, to instant acclaim from critics and film lovers. Hip-hop superstar AKA rocked several stages last weekend, including the Konka Summer Tour in Bloemfontein, where his long-time nemesis Cassper Nyovest was also in attendance. The two rappers have been at loggerheads for the longest time, and there’s always something popping up in the headlines. At the Konka Summer Tour, things got a bit tense between the superstars and their crews. Cassper has been pushing for himself and AKA to resolve their issues in a boxing ring, which has fallen on deaf ears.
According to Cassper, he and AKA had a chat about finishing their beef as men, but AKA wanted no smoke. “Lol. I was just chatting with lil man and asking how he is doin? Wanted us to talk on the side, I told him it was time to finish this, as man. He ain’t want no smoke. I’ll tell you one thing, that guy ain’t coming to see me in the ring anytime soon. Nothing but fear in his eyes,” he tweeted. Before performing the popular diss track “Composure,” AKA told the crowd: “There’s a lot of love out here, but you know when it’s time to battle, we got to battle. Where that n**ga at?”

Ugandan pop star-turned-politician Robert Kyagulanyi, popularly known as Bobi Wine, says he was detained in Dubai at the weekend after arriving there to perform at a music concert. He says he was held at the airport for 12 hours and was questioned about his political party, family, and personal details. He was later released without charge, and the concert, whose proceeds were meant to benefit African migrants in the Gulf country, was later canceled.
Mr. Kyagulanyi has blamed Uganda embassy officials for the cancellation of his music concert, “The information I have is that the Ugandan embassy in Dubai influenced the cancellation of this concert because maybe if I was able to return these girls back home then the government of Uganda will be slapped in the face,” he said.

N’Golo Kante has suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury after returning to training last week. Kante hasn’t featured for Chelsea since they faced Spurs at Stamford Bridge in August. The midfielder was moving toward a return to first-team action but has been set back in his quest to play in the near future due to the injury.
Speaking to reporters, Graham Potter said: “N’Golo, we’re just waiting for his reaction from his training. It is certainly not ideal [his reaction] so we will have to wait and see the extent of it and go from there. It’s not ideal and it is disappointing for him and for us.”
