New Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Divine Blush Duo Swatches

I have an extensive blush collection. It’s still hard for me to believe that I did not have any Pat McGrath Labs blushes in my collection. That has changed! Because I got the new Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Divine Blush Duo a few days back. I am super excited, as this is my first blush from this brand.

According to Sephora this is “A divine duo of petal-soft powder blush, curated to blend together for a unique, feather-light, silk-velvet finish.”

Packaging Of The Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Divine Blush Duo

The outer packaging is made up of hard lacquered plastic, with the brand name written in gold on the front of the compact. The back of the compact has the shade name and other details. This compact has a snap/shut kind of closure. To open it you press the little button in the center and pull the lid up. I hope this makes sense. I would have preferred a magnetic closure, but you can’t have everything right?

My Experience With The Pat McGrath Labs Skin Fetish Divine Blush Duo

I swatched all five shades at Sephora. The staff at Sephora was so kind. They did not have testers out yet. But they got some out for me from the storage room and I quickly swatched them. I picked the shade Paradise Glow as I thought I would get much use out of it. But I have to say they all looked and swatched beautifully.

Indoor Swatches

These blush duos are pigmented and blend well. I mostly swirl my brush in both the shades lightly and then apply to my cheek and blend. There is as little kickback which I normally avoid by swirling gently. You could use the shades individually too I’m sure. On my combination skin I get about 6 to 7 hours after which they start fading. The shade Night Bloom is very pigmented.

Below is a reel with all the swatches. Please excuse the blurry video. I was kind of embarrassed that the staff had to get the stuff out from the storage room for me to swatch. They were so kind. They offered to get it from the back when I asked them when they would be getting these blushes. So the rushed video.

Pros

  • Beautiful, pigmented colors
  • Cruelty-free
  • 2 shades for a little more than the price of one blush

Cons

  • Non-magnetic closure which some might struggle with
  • Expensive
