There’s nothing like the look of fresh out-the-shower water waves. I’ll do my makeup, detangle my hair, and add in a hair product (or five), hoping they’ll look just as good three hours from now. Maybe Beyonce’s Renaissance album will do the trick because, from the looks of it, Gabrielle Union‘s very own wet waves are glistening the tune of Bey’s “I’m That Girl.”

The internet is currently buzzing from the Flawless by Gabrielle Union co-founder’s latest set of Instagram photos. Three posts came one after the other, and I almost couldn’t keep up. The first set of still shots which were photographed by April Johnston was captioned with the words “Alien Guest Star.” On August 2, though, Union shared a video clip in which she’s caressing her polished water waves in a deep side-part. She has landed her spaceship on planet Mars and is giving all the angles in a pastel green cut-out dress with loose beach waves falling down her torso. 

Union absolutely is, indeed, “That Girl,” as the song lyrics go. With wet-looking waves came a natural makeup complexion as well. Makeup artist Renny Vasquez kept her look minimal with an airbrush finish, a barely-there lip color, and a subtle highlight at the bridge of her nose.
