Intermountain names interim CEO
Name: Lydia Jumonville
New title: Interim president and CEO of Intermountain Healthcare
Previous title: President and CEO of SCL Health
As of Monday, Jumonville now serves as the interim leader of Intermountain Healthcare following the departure of former chief executive Marc Harrison.
The health system has launched a nationwide search to find a permanent executive to lead the system and expects to make a final decision this fall.
Jumonville previously led Colorado-based SCL Health. In April, SCL and Intermountain merged, creating a $12 billion system and expanded Intermountain’s reach into Colorado.
Since the deal closed, Jumonville has been working to integrate the two systems as an executive sponsor and currently serves on the health system’s board.
Prior to her role as SCL’s chief executive, Jumonville served as the organization’s chief financial officer.
Before SCL, she worked in Dallas as CFO of Baylor Health Care System, now known as Baylor Scott & White Health following a 2013 merger with Scott & White Healthcare.
Jumonville serves on the board of the Catholic Health Association and National Jewish Health. She earned her degree from Louisiana State University and is a certified public accountant.
Utah-based Intermountain operates 33 hospitals and hundreds of clinics across seven states and insures one million people in Utah and Idaho.
