Give Me Glow Deep Waters, Jade, Blue Jeans, Bubbles, Satellite, Icicle Foiled Pressed Shadows Reviews & Swatches

Deep Waters

Give Me Glow Deep Waters Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a brighter, medium blue with slightly warmer, green-gold shimmer that gave it a shiny, metallic finish. The eyeshadow was richly pigmented with good adhesion to bare skin while blending out well along the edges. The consistency was smooth, lightly creamy, and moderately dense but picked up well with a dry brush. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before creasing faintly.

Formula Overview

$7.00/0.105 oz. – $66.67 Per Ounce

The brand offers matte and foiled finish eyeshadows, though the descriptions are largely the same: “highly pigmented,” “blendable,” and “finely milled.” The difference is with the foiled finish eyeshadows, the brand cautions to use less because they’re that pigmented and going in with a heavier hand could cause flaking.

The foiled eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented with a very smooth, creamy consistency that was dense without being too stiff or too firmly-pressed into the pan. I didn’t have any issues picking up product with a dry brush, and they also worked well with fingertips or a dampened brush an even more intense, metallic finish that was ultra-shiny.

I found this finish to be more consistent, too, and it was rare to run into major issues with the shades in this finish. There were a few with a touch of fallout or that might have creased a bit faster over time, but by and large, they hit all the high notes for those who love pigmented, metallic eyeshadows. They wore between eight and nine hours, often creasing more than fading on me.

They come in oversized pans (relative to average size) at 37mm, and they contain double the product (0.10 oz.) the average eyeshadow does (0.05 oz.).

Jade

Give Me Glow Jade Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a darker aqua with subtle, cool undertones and a bright, metallic finish. The texture felt more loosely-pressed, so I had to be careful picking up product to avoid an excessive amount of powder that resulted in fallout. It was very pigmented, so using a lighter-hand was very doable as a workaround. It lasted well for eight hours before creasing a little.

Blue Jeans

Give Me Glow Blue Jeans Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a muted, medium blue with subtle, cool undertones and flecks of contrasting pink sparkle throughout its metallic finish. It was intensely pigmented with a smooth, almost cream-like texture that wasn’t too thick or too firmly-pressed into the pan. There were signs of creasing apparent after eight hours of wear.

Bubbles

Give Me Glow Bubbles Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a bright, medium blue with strong, cool undertones and a metallic finish. The consistency was a little thicker and more loosely-pressed, which resulted in light fallout during application. I’d recommend patting or pressing it into place and then blending, which helped to minimize fallout. It had nearly opaque color coverage that stayed on well for eight hours before creasing visibly.

Give Me Glow Icicle Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a soft white with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It had a slightly more loosely-pressed consistency, even though it felt a little creamy and a touch thicker, so it had good adhesion and minimal fallout during application but had to be pressed/patted into place for evenness. It had opaque color payoff that lasted well for eight hours before showing signs of fading on me.
