Erborian Skin Hero Peeling Review | British Beauty Blogger
[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] This product had me at ‘2 minutes’ – I’m a big fan of a quick fix. I think hard peels need to be used with caution and it’s not really something I do very often after knackering my skin barrier testing products that were just too hardcore. Erborian Skin Hero Peeling contains a gentle blend of AHA, BHA and PHA.
I would liken Erborian Skin Hero Peeling to an acid based flash balm – there’s a definite perking up of the skin although it’s hard to say that it ‘visibly reduced pores and imperfections’. It’s more of an immediate smoother and glow-maker. I could feel it working under my chin with those familiar tingles but didn’t feel them anywhere else on my face and the milky texture is invisible on the skin. Once I’d waited the two minutes and rinsed it away, I could see that my complexion looked refreshed. I used REN Barrier Support Elixir afterwards (and I’d advise that after any kind of skin peel or exfoliation – it’s £44 HERE at SpaceNK and a very handy product to have) and my base went on like a dream. I think ‘refresher’ is a good word for the results of Erborian Skin Hero Peeling – a very nice smoothing action that gives radiance and softness in a subtle, quick way. I’d use it first thing in the morning or before a night out although the instructions say use in the evening. It’s £40 HERE.
