CVS names executive to new chief data, tech officer role
Name: Tilak Mandadi
New title: EVP and chief data, digital and technology officer, CVS Health
Previous title: Chief strategy, innovation and technology officer, MGM Resorts International
CVS has named Mandadi to the newly created CDDTO role effective July 25. Mandadi will be responsible for the company’s digital and tech strategy, along with overseeing company growth through digital and consumer-focused experiences and services, according to CVS.
Technology has been a key focus for CVS as the company sought avenues to reach consumers during the pandemic, with CEO Karen Lynch calling it a “catalyst for value-creation and growth” in a statement on Mandadi’s appointment. Currently, the company serves more than 44 million unique digital customers.
Mandadi joins CVS from MGM Resorts, where he led the hospitality company’s digital strategy for roughly a year. Prior to that, he served in senior digital strategy roles at Disney Parks and American Express, and other tech-focused leadership positions at FedEx and Dell Online.
Mandadi will become a member of CVS’ executive leadership team and will report directly to Lynch.
