Bella Hadid Is Entering Her Villain Era With This Pin-Straight, Knee-Length Ponytail

Bella Hadid‘s villain-esque persona came to life as she starred as the chosen muse in rapper Offset’s latest music video for his song “CODE,” featuring Moneybagg Yo. On August 28, the model shared a behind-the-scenes look into the visuals for the project, directed by Claire Arnold and the rapper himself.

New York City-based hairstylist Sonny Molina and makeup artist Nadia Tayeh transformed Hadid into what they call a “Balenciaga Vixen.” The model posed in silver diamond-embellished accessories from head to toe with a ponytail so sleek and long that it camouflaged right into her seemingly satin black opera gloves.

Molina first styled Hadid’s hair in a slicked-back ponytail with a deep, diagonal part and extra-long, pin-straight hair flowing out of it. He used a lock of her jet-black hair to conceal the base of the ponytail, which later swept across the white floors Hadid laid across in the video’s still shots. The whole look is more or less an art piece.

Molina also took to his Instagram to highlight the details behind the second style he created for the video, a dimensional bun. He achieved the ultimate shine in both styles, and products from the haircare brand Oribe played a part in both looks.

Tayeh brought out the model’s chiseled bone structure with a sheer highlight spanning from the brow bone to the tip of her cheekbone. Hadid’s brows remained bleached in a light brown shade, pairing perfectly with her slightly glossed lips.
