It’s about to be a groovy weekend with these newly released afrobeat songs. Afrobeat artists have been making their marks with danceable songs these days, and that is definitely paying off. After weeks of trending online and even being a sound on TikTok, Asake finally releases Terminator and it surely exceeds expectations.

This time, Pheelz comes in hard on the track, and superstar singer Davido accepted his offer after enlivening the song with his incredible vocal prowess. The track serves as a follow up to Pheeelz’s song Finesse.

Music veteran M.I Abaga is out with a new single titled The Love Song. He enlisted the help of fellow music veteran Wande Coal who dropped an amazing verse. The song is reflective of the vibe of the album, The Guy, on which it is in, and a wonderful mix of simple percussion beats, soft synths, and string arrangements.

EmPawa Music act Joeboy is out with a new song titled Contour. His latest drop Contour is a fast, appealing follow-up to his earlier delivered tune, Spiritual Gbedu (A Colors Show). There is no denying that the song is a masterpiece and a perfect example of what excellent music should sound like.

#5. Whoisakin – Damaged

Nigerian singer Whoisakin returns with a new single called Damaged produced by Beats by Timmy. The new record is an impressive track that is sure to have you put your music player on repeat.
