I´ve heard so many times about the Polish brand Bielenda. However, I never tried anything from this brand until I bought Bielenda Eco Nature Face Wash Gel. There are different options available and I bought the one containing Kakadu Plum, jasmine and mango. In this post, I am going to review this face wash.
About the product.
The face wash gel contains 99% ingredients of natural origin. The product guarantees the optimal level of hydration of your skin, it is perfect as a preparation that effectively cleans the epidermis. The gel removes make-up residues, perfectly prepares the skin for further care, restores the feeling of comfort, refreshment and relief.
We have enriched the recipe with beneficial ingredients. Kakadu plum is a great antioxidant, it illuminates and supports the elasticity of the epidermis. Jasmine perfectly softens the skin and soothes it. Mango has strong moisturizing properties.

My opinion about Bielenda Eco Nature
Packaging
The product comes in an orange plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The bottle is transparent and has a sticker covering most of the surface. This sticker contains information about the product. However, that is not very useful unless you speak Polish, as all the information is only written in that language.
The pump dispenser comes with a screw cap to fit the bottle, simulating wood. It is not made of wood obviously. It is a plastic cap but it looks very nice though. The pump worked fine for the first use. However, after a few uses, it started to get stacked and I need to pull it up after each pressing. That may be only in the bottle I have, but it was very annoying for me.
Bielenda Eco Nature Texture and Smell
The product is a transparent gel with a quite thick consistency. It has a deep smell, and therefore, it will not be suitable for people with sensitive skin.
This product smells like a mixture of fruity and flowery scents. It is not mango or jasmine as you could expect. It may be the Kakadu Plum, as I have no idea about how this plum smells. Though it is a deep smell, it does not stay long on the skin after rinsing the product.
This gel lathers after rubbing between the hands with some water. It does not lather massively though, and it does not foam at all.
About the ingredients
This gel does not contain a huge quantity of ingredients, as you can see in the ingredient list. Among the ten first ingredients, we can find jasmine, mango and Kakadu plum extracts. While jasmine and mango extract only give scent to the products, the Kakadu Plum brings some benefits to your skin. This plum extract is an antioxidant and helps to improve skin brightening. The first time I heard about this fruit was when I got this face wash. Kakadu plum is a tropical fruit, produced mainly in Australia, which contains a high amount of vitamin C and has been used for centuries in bush medicine.
The formula contains also hydrating ingredients in the first positions of the ingredient list. These hydrating ingredients are glycerin and hyaluronic acid.

How does Bielenda Eco Nature perform?
When I used it for the very first time, I applied only a single pump of gel. However, I could not feel my skin as clean as I like. I feel that a pump is not enough to clean my full face.
I started to use a couple of pumps then. It is quite better, but still, I feel this product does not clean my skin deeply enough for my standards.
I have been using this product as a morning cleanser when my face has only remaining products from the nighttime cosmetics and some sweat. I only used it a couple of times on my makeup skin and it did not eliminate completely the remaining rests of makeup after the cleansing balm, even if I use my favourite one.
It is easy to rinse and goes completely when rinsing with warm water.
How does my skin feel?
The most important point is that I don’t feel my skin is as clean as I feel when I use other cleansers. Cleanse the skin is the main function of this product, so if I think it does not clean enough, you can imagine I will not like it. As I mentioned, it goes well after rinsing and does not leave a sticky or oily feeling on my skin.
The brand claims this product will give you hydration and will leave an illuminating and elastic skin. I cannot feel any of these effects. My skin is dry and, yes, this product does not leave my skin tight, but also it is not giving the extra hydration my skin needs. I can feel neither any increase in luminosity nor elasticity. I don’t look for a cleanser with these properties, but if a brand claims them, then I expect the product to deliver what they promise, and this product does not.
How long does the product last?
The bottle comes with 200 mL of product, which seems to be a lot. I had about 80 uses, considering that most of the time I used two pumps of product. It is not too bad and makes a good value for money.
I paid £6 for the 200 mL, so this product costs me 7.5 pence per use.
Bielenda Eco Nature Face Wash Gel
Pros
- Affordable
- Last for several uses
- Skin does not feel tight
- Easy to rinse
Cons
- Does not foam
- I don’t feel my skin clean
- Does not deliver what the brand claims
- Needs a high amount of product every use
- All information is only in Polish
Do I recommend it?
I will not buy this product again but I would like to try other products from this brand. I don’t want to ban a brand for only one product I don’t like.
Obviously, if I am not going to buy it again, I cannot recommend it.
In summary, I don’t like this product. I like a face wash which foams on my skin, and this one does not. Also, I don’t feel my skin is clean enough. I’ve tried lots of cleansers and there are plenty which I like more than this one.
Have you ever tried this product? Do you like it? Let me know in the comments.
