Previous title: Global chief operating officer, Health Solutions at Aon; CEO of Aon’s Latin America Health Solutions business

As CVS’ new CSO, Ostafin will lead strategy across the pharmacy chain’s core businesses, focusing on new market opportunities and product development.

The Rhode Island-based company has been focusing on building out its capabilities in primary care, management services organization and home health to drive earnings growth.

Prior to joining CVS, Ostafin was at insurance company Aon, and also worked as a managing director and partner at Boston Consulting Group.

Ostafin, who will become CSO effective July 11, will report to CEO Karen Lynch.
