6 Dandy Men’s Fashion Trends We Have Our Eyes On This Fall

Fall 2022 is (technically) just around the corner, and we’re totally ready for the dry air, hue-shifting leaves and most importantly, all the fall fashion trends it brings in its wake. Summer 2022 was filled with daring and unusual reaches on the men’s style scene, and if we’re going by what we witnessed on the fall runways, this season is poised to follow suit.

From Milan to Paris, Men’s Fall/Winter 2022 trends bordered on functionality, and ease, with a dash of edge. For instance, brands like Dries Van Noten and JW Anderson played the unconventional card and decked their male models in flirty dresses that were surprisingly stylish. Elsewhere, Prada, Sacai, and GMBH gave a facelift to the classic coat using fur trimmings — clearly showing that the warm and cuddly fur has made its way into the gents’ closet.

For an everyday guy, stepping out of your house mirroring some of the looks from the runways might seem out of place (guys in dresses, anyone?), so how do you make these fall men’s fashion trends work for you? Well, that’s what we’re here for. Here are six of the hottest trends for fall 2022 that you can totally own.

Check out 6 men’s fall fashion for 2022 any guy can rock…

#1. Letterman jackets

Last month, during Fall/Winter fashion week, there was hardly a runway show that didn’t have a man stun in letterman jackets. This season’s essential has a habit of going in and out of the fashion cycle, but this Fall, they are back and seem determined to stick around longer. And guess what? Sportstars around the world are betting on that!

Fall fashion wouldn’t feel right without a bit of leather included in your most stylish looks. Leather is extremely versatile, making it wearable for work, errands, events, and a great fabric to step into fall with. Whether you like it or absolutely love it, leather should be on your fashion radar for fall 2022.

#3. Double the denim

Menswear and womenswear often go hand-in-hand, so when a particular trend is causing a stir in the women’s department, it’s only a matter of time before the boys follow suit. This is exactly the case with the double denim look that spilled over from the girls to the guys just in time for fall. Names like Schiaparelli and Fendi championed the Canadian tuxedo at their shows in more interesting ways than usual. This should serve as a fashion sign for you to dare and give your personal update to this trend as it so pleases you.

#4. Flared pants

The principle of spillover trends (as explained above) also applies here. Flared pants are a total style wonder for men and women as they effortlessly inject a flair of excitement into otherwise boring looks. This men’s fall fashion trend for 2022 is one of those outfits you slip into and instantly have some dance in your steps. Tuck in a fitted tee and throw on a jacket to channel your inner Elvis Presley.

#5. Vests

It’s no surprise that vests are in this fall as the piece works well in a layered look. As the temperatures dip, build a cold-resistant ensemble that involves vests. Whether you grab them in cable knit, leather, or any variation for that matter, they are sure to keep you warm and in vogue!

#6. Sheer wonders

Is there anything fashion can’t make us do? Doubt it. This season, the fashion gods have demanded that men rival women in baring skin, so who am I to complain? Goddamn, I’m just a messenger conveying their message! Of course, the cool weather is proof that you need not rock these tops alone. Rather, layer it over a printed shirt or under a jacket to ensure that temps don’t rain on your parade, and watch the fashion deities nod in approval.
